| Hey hey hey! It has been an insanely long time since i have
written anything in here. I'm doing this for my sister who
requested. There is only one more week of summer and to be quite
frank, I'm depressed. I hate....well not hate but strongly
dis-like brighton and i'm just ready for a change of pace, people,
scenery, etc..... I don't think i find the idea of school to be
depressing by any means. I think it is that i know a year from
now i wont be here and most likely at Belmont in Nashville. I
wasn't scared at all cause my best friend mike said he was gonna join
me, but, i think due to him and his girlfriend getting pretty serious,
i'll be going alone. It will just be weird being like 8-9 hours
from home and completely on my own. Which is still pretty cool to
be on my own...but weird at the same time. I just honestly think
i have out grown brighton and the people here. Maybe thats why i
hang out with people from other towns haha. Summer has been
awesome so far. I went to Zambia which is in Africa for a 2-week
missions trip! Go here...http://www.707online.com/mediavideo.html
if you want to see some of the video's from Zambia and the youth team i
was with. There are three total. But that was definately an
awesome experience. I gained a lot of great friends with my
teammates. I think we decided that we became such good friends
because we all sorta didn't feel like we had a group to belong to at
youth group...so when we went we all just got along and hung out.
Sorry I'm not saying too much about what we did....but there is so
much! Just watch the friggin' video's you bums. But since
we have been back we have been keeping in touch and hanging out as much
as possible. But, with school coming and college for a
few...those days will end....sad.
Also, this summer my band Milo has been busy! Chech us out at www.myspace.com/milomusic.
But we have been recording as much as we can and have two songs
done. One done professionally and the other by my friend
Drew(which is the song on myspace). But we have played like 3
shows this summer. And our last at Espresso Royale went
tremendously. Happy 'bout it. Other than that I haven't
done a whole lot except stay up late and sleep in. The new Harry
Potter book came out which was amazing. A little dissapointed in
the death of.......not gonna say it! If you haven't read it then
it's your problem. But none the less, an amazing book. I'm
actually starting to read it again. I have also met an awesome
girl. Which has been cool. She is actually a christian for
once and I can see big differences. Ummmm......oh senior pictures
are coming up. So i gotta get those going. Also being on my
school's exec. board is going to be a lot of work this year. Exec
board is the highest of any student council. So it has been fun
but with homecoming coming up in October we have to plan like
crazy. I'm on the parade commitee...so like all that is on
us. I'm looking forward to the fun that will also come with this
year. I have noticed that I'm already like.....well i just don't
care about what people think anymore and if they don't like me boo hoo
cause I won't see you next year! haha. It has been weird watching
people pack up and go to college though. I'll miss people a
lot. But this is funny....the senior Jeff Moore got held back for
another senior year....so there are still two Jeff Moore's which is
highly annoying. Gosh....I don't have too much else to say except
to watch those Zambia videos and to check out my band!

| Hey all.....it has been an insanely long time since i have done
this. I have been using my myspace a lot more....check
it....www.myspace.com/Jmo34. Life has been going really well
lately. I spent my Memorial Day weekend in Illinois for my
cousins graduation. Paul is my cuz and we get along really well
since we are so close in age...so it was fun to see him. I hung
out with him and his friends saturday night and it was the weirdest
time ever. He wore this raptor costume and his friend was in a
gorilla costume and i had this huge sombraro and a beater on with
cowboy boots. One girl had a cactus costume and the others wore
small costumes. We ran around meijers for a while and people were
super weirded out and eventually this ogre-bohemoth guy chased us
out. Then we went to this hotel and the minnesota baseball team
was in the lobby for the big ten tournament. So we ran around
them. We went to his graduation and his class was so small, like
190 kids. I was thinking how long my ceremony will take cause we
have like 500 some kids haha. I read the catcher in the rye on
the way and it sucked. I didn't see the point. Did i miss
it? Don't really care. Thats it!

| Today was a really fun day. First of all we didn't have any
school(due to teacher's having something) and that made it sweet.
Then my boy Mike Rozek came over and we wrote two of the coolest songs
ever. It was sooo cool just jammin and stuff. I felt the
best I have felt in a long time. The first song we wrote was one
we started a week or so ago but never really finished. It's a
beautiful song. It is the kind of song you have to spend a lot of
time lyrically on....its just really delicate. Reminds us a lot
of John Mayer. The other song is one I wrote a while back.
But, the addition of Mike's kickin lead made it so much better.
We also got some yummy ice cream at cold stone. Yeah thats about
it.

| Hey everyone! It has been a freaking long time since I have
updated. Not a whole lot is going on in my life right now.
I just got back yesterday from Chicago. It was for choir but it
was still a ton of fun. We sang twice and we won a competition
and got the best male section. We saw The Blue Man Group the
first night and they were really good. Strange, but good.
They show absolutely no emotion. I have a ton of good memories
from there...thanks to Zach, Jeff P, and Doug. Aaron Wilson is
the man with his karate kicks too. On the way home Doug was
singing the funniest disney songs. Like Colors of the Wind from
Pochahontas(spelling?). Hilarious stuff. We watched Mean
Girls on the way home and I really noticed how a lot of people I know
are like that. Sorta makes you sad. Kristi, Mel, and I had
some really good conversation on Saturday night. I really
appreciated them because being around them I was able to be me again
and have fun.
As far as everything else is going, its good. I'm really getting
sick of High School though. I have only 9 weeks left and them I'm
a senior. So until then I just need to press on and work
hard. I'm starting to realize that you don't have to try to
impress people and just to be myself. As long as I'm me I'll be
good. High School is too short to care what everyone
thinks. Chances are you won't be associated with a lot of them
after. For a lot of people life after high school will be a rude
awakening when no one will judge for being "cool" in high school.
It's just a fresh start. So to all the seniors I know, I
encourage you to be who you are next year and to be liked for
you. I got the new Mae cd called The Everglow. Super
good...everyone should check it out. Also I was using Jeff P's
ipod and found this sweet band named The Rocket Summer. So I have
been listening to them a lot. Check them too! Thats it!

| Hey Hey Hey,
Ahh so yesterday was pretty funny. I had choir festival at Berkely High
School(also BHS). It started out on a hilarious note when me and
Zach were chillin and Zach asks these girls from another school where
they go to school. They were like, "We go to The International
Academy." "Where do you go?" And Zach was like "We go to the
Brighton....Institute...of fine singing." Probably the most
hilarious thing I have heard in a while. I was dying laughing,
like fall over laughter. So we sang and rocked. Next we
were eating lunch and their school has this school store called the
Bear Necessities. So we went in and they were selling these pimp
college hats for $2. So Doug Ford, Drew Leahy, Zach, and I all
bought hats. So we were cruising around the school and the ladies
were flocking to us. It started when Zach and I went down this
hall and these girls singing from another school stopped us and were
like my friend wants your number. So we just kept going and Drew
and Doug joined us and people were taking pics of us on their phones
and stuff and following us. It was sweet.
I had to work friday night and it was okay. It wasnt busy at all
so it went fast. I have to work today from 12am-8pm which is a
long time....but a lot of money. My sister(Lindsay) and her
husband(Ross) are in town for a wedding or something. So yeah
thats about it.
